Terry Tuma Fishing Tip: Fishing Line

In this week’s CCX Sports Ice Fishing Tip, Hall of Fame angler Terry Tuma talks about the best fishing lines to use.

Terry says whether you are using micro ice, fluorocarbon or braided fishing line to match the line with your rod and reel, the lure being used and the type of species you are fishing for.

Micro Ice lines tend to provide a lot of stretch; Fluorocarbon lines feature minimal stretch with extreme sensitivity while braided lines offer no stretch but a faster sinking speed.
