Surprise Sendoff for Patti Weldon

Colleagues and friends surprised retiring Armstrong activities director Patti Weldon Wednesday, hosting a get-together late Wednesday afternoon at the school.

Weldon’s last day on the job is this Friday after 33 years in the district and the last 17 as Armstrong’s A.D.  No replacement for her position has been named.

Weldon was named Section 6AA and Minnesota Activities Director of the Year for 2019-20.
