State Nordic Ski Highlights
The state Nordic ski meet produced plenty of highlights for skiers from the northwest suburbs.
Armstrong’s Roger Anderson placed second in the boys meet.
C.J. Young of Wayzata was third and Colin Freed of Wayzata placed fifth in a strong showing for local boys.
Maple Grove placed fifth as team on the boys side, with Armstrong 9th, Champlin Park 10th, and Wayzata 15th.
Lauren McCollor of Wayzata was fourth in the girls race, with Christina Bolcer of Maple Grove 9th.
Maple Grove’s girls team was 6th, with Wayzata 7th and Hopkins 13th.
