This week on the September 16, 2019 edition of CCX Media’s Sports Jam, highlights from prep volleyball, swimming, soccer, football and more, including Osseo football’s first win since 2017.
In our Sports Jam Spotlight segment Jay Wilcox profiles Armstrong football players Jake Breitbach and Thai Bowman. The dynamic quarterback/wide receiver duo have helped the Falcons start the season 3-0 with Breitbach playing again after an ACL injury late in the basketball season last winter.
Also on the show John Jacobson talks with Wayzata volleyball players Olivia Johnson, Lily Emlong and Elizabeth Helmich. The Trojans are ranked third in the state in Class 3A and begin play this week with just one loss this season. Plus we reveal last week’s Play of the Week winner.
