This week on CCX Media’s Sports Jam, highlights from the state Nordic ski meet plus section competition in wrestling, gymnastics and also in girls hockey, where both Maple Grove and Breck qualified for the state tournament.
In our Sports Jam Spotlight segment Jason Melillo profiles Maple Grove girls hockey goalie Lucy Morgan who moved here from North Dakota in 2017 and is one of the state’s top prep goaltenders.
Also on the show Jay Wilcox talks with Champlin Park boys hockey players Jack Karges and Sam Lee and co-head coach Tommy Potter. The Rebels set a school record for wins this season and open the section playoffs this week. Plus our Plays of the Week.
