Rosemount Rallies to take down Hopkins in 4A Championship
Hopkins girls basketball lead by seven points with five minutes to play, but couldn’t close the door on Rosemount in the Class 4A state championship.
The Irish stormed back late and won a thriller, 63-62 – claiming their program’s first ever state title.
Amisha Ramlall led Rosemount with 20 points. Ashna Ramlall added 16.
Hopkins was led by Jaliyah Diggs, who netted 20 points. Erma Walker put up 14 on 7-of-10 shooting from the field.
The Royals ended their season with a 29-3 record.
