Rockford Boys Soccer Edged by Delano
The Rockford boys soccer team lost a close match to rival Delano Thursday, falling 3-2.
The Rockets took a 2-1 lead in the second half on Bryan Ortega’s second goal of the night but the Tigers scored the final two goals of the match including the game winner by Nick Farniok with under five minutes to play.
Delano improved its record to 8-3-0 on the season. Rockford is now 4-3-2.
