Robbinsdale Wins Wood Bat Tourney
Host Robbinsdale won the 11/12 year old division of the Robbinsdale Wood Bat tournament.
Robbinsdale beat St. Louis Park 4-1 in pool play.
They beat them again in the semifinals before edging a Coon Rapids team 3-2 in the final.
The tournament benefits Baseball in Benin, a project to introduce the sport to the small African nation.
A team visiting from Benin won their consolation game in the 11/12 division.
