Rebels Boys Soccer Stays Unbeaten
Champlin Park’s boys soccer team improved its season record to 4-0-0 with a 3-1 win vs. Park Center Thursday.
William Heinen broke a 1-1 tie in the second half when he scored on a penalty kick.
Cole Bridson and Leo Conneh also scored for the Rebels. Sidike Jabateh scored the lone goal for the Pirates (2-1-1).
Champlin Park hosts Rogers in its next match on Tuesday while Park Center is home to play Totino-Grace Tuesday.
The Rebels’ girls team also remained unbeaten on the season Thursday. Six Champlin Park players scored at least two goals in a 15-0 win over Park Center.
