Osseo Legion Rolls Past Anoka
The Osseo Legion baseball team rolled past Anoka for a 7-3 win in the Sub-State 11 tournament.
Osseo scored two in the first inning on a base hit by Ethan Lorentzen, and tacked on two more in the third.
Pitcher Jake Contreras didn’t allow a hit until the fifth inning, but Anoka battled back to pull within 4-3 in the inning.
Contreras escaped with the lead and got relief help from Walker Hultgren.
The Orioles added three runs in the sixth to put the game away.
Osseo plays again Saturday morning in the winner’s bracket final.
