Osseo Baseball Scores First Win
In a wild back and forth game, the Osseo baseball team beat Spring Lake Park 6-5 in eight innings Thursday.
It’s the first win this season for the Orioles.
An Adam Lanners two-run double gave Osseo an early lead in the second inning.
The Orioles took a 3-1 lead into the bottom of the sixth inning before the Panthers tied it up.
Osseo went back ahead in the top of the seventh as two runners scored on a Tim Lavin squeeze bunt.
Spring Lake Park responded with back to back run-scoring doubles in the bottom of the seventh to tie it again 5-5.
Andrew Shaw hit a bases-loaded single in the top of the eighth to put Osseo ahead for good.
