It was medals galore for athletes from the northwest suburbs at the Class AA state track meet.
The Wayzata boys won the team title for the seventh time.
The Hopkins boys 4 x 200 relay team set a new state record of 1:26.37 on the way to the title.
Joe Fahnbulleh won the 200 meter dash after anchoring the record-setting relay.
Khalid Hussein of Wayzata was a double winner, taking the 1600 and 3200 meter titles.
Carissa Travis of Wayzata took the discus championship.
Several athletes from the area placed second and third.
