Maranatha Baseball Loses to Liberty Classical

The Maranatha Christian Academy baseball team lost a close 5-4 decision to Liberty Classical Academy.

The Lions scored two run in the first inning and one more in the fifth to take a 3-0 lead.

Maranatha battled back with a run in the fifth and two more in the sixth to tie it 3-3.

Bryce Lovcik hit a solo homerun to help fuel the comeback.

Liberty scored twice in the top of the seventh and then held off one last Mustangs rally.
