Maple Grove Soccer Camp Focused on Skills
Coming off a state championship season last season, players in the Maple Grove girls soccer program are hoping to have the chance to defend that title this fall.
This week girls from grades 7 through 12 are taking part in 2-hour a day, five-day camp and clinic in Maple Grove.
Because of some restrictions because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the focus this week is on skill development, with no scrimmaging allowed.
The Crimson are missing some of their varsity players this week who are attending club soccer tryouts.
Maple Grove finished with an 18-2-1 record in 2019 in winning the program’s first state title.
