Maple Grove Shoots for Section Boys Hockey Title
Maple Grove will shoot for a repeat section boys hockey title Thursday.
After an up-and-down regular season, the team is pretty healthy now after battling injuries and illness.
The Crimson defeated Osseo 4-0 in the section quarterfinals before knocking off Blaine 3-2 in the semifinals.
Now they’ll face top seed Centennial, a team they lost to twice during the season, in the Section 5AA championship Thursday night at Aldrich Arena.
Maple Grove has seven players who played in the section final last season.
