Maple Grove Girls Hockey Set to Face Top-Ranked Andover
The Maple Grove girls hockey team is off to a 3-1 start and ranked sixth in the state class AA poll.
Friday night they get a very tough test, facing top-ranked and defending state class AA champion Andover.
The Crimson edged Elk River 2-1 in overtime earlier this week.
Maple Grove has won three straight after running into a hot goalie in their season opener, a 1-0 loss to Blaine.
Friday’s game is at Andover.
