Maple Grove Girls Hockey Falls in State QF
The Maple Grove girls hockey team fell to Minnetonka 7-4 in the state class AA quarterfinals.
Tristana Tatur scored the game’s first goal for the Crimson, and the score was tied 1-1 after one period.
Minnetonka scored three in a row in the second period to take control of the game on the way to the win.
Lauren Stenslie scored two goals in the loss for the Crimson.
Lacey Martin had two goals and an assist for Minetonka.
Maple Grove bounced back to beat East Ridge in the consolation bracket.
