Maple Grove Girls Basketball Team Set for Section Final
The Maple Grove girls basketball team has had a great season, and they will play for a section championship Thursday night.
The Crimson, the number two seed in Section 8AAAA, face top seed St. Michael-Albertville for the title.
Maple Grove beat Moorhead in the section semifinals Saturday.
They’ll be shooting for their first section title since 2011.
Maple Grove is 23-5, with one of the five losses coming against St. Michael-Albertville in the Knights’ holiday tournament.
