Maple Grove Girls Basketball Set for State
The Maple Grove girls basketball team is set for state.
The Crimson won the Section 8AAAA title by upsetting top seed St. Michael-Albertville.
It’s the second straight time in the state tournament for the Crimson.
It’s the first time in program history they’ve made consecutive appearances.
Fifth seed Maple Grove plays fourth seed Centennial in the class AAAA quarterfinals.
That game is at noon Wednesday at Williams Arena.
