Maple Grove Girls Basketball Set for Section Final
The Maple Grove girls basketball team is set for the Section 8AAAA final.
The Crimson faces St. Michael-Albertville in a rematch of last season’s championship game.
Maple Grove advanced with a tough 43-42 win over Elk River in the section semifinals.
They carry a 22-6 record into the section final.
That record includes a 57-51 loss to St. Michael-Albertville in the season opener.
Maple Grove and STMA meet at 7:00 Thursday night at Monticello High School.
