Maple Grove Boys Hockey Preps for Turkey Trot
The Maple Grove boys hockey team is preparing for this weekend’s Turkey Trot hockey tournament.
The Crimson completed the tryout process and has also played some scrimmages in Moorhead.
Maple Grove takes on Wayzata on the opening night of the Turkey Trot tournament Friday at 7:15 pm at Plymouth Ice Center. Edina and Holy Family are the other two teams in the event.
Turkey Trot is hosted by the Wayzata Hockey program and sponsored for the 17th straight year by CCX Media. Live coverage of the tournament’s 3rd place and championship games starts at 5:00 pm Saturday on Comcast’s CCX1 and online at ccxmedia.org
