Maple Grove Baseball Pulls Away from SLP
After grabbing an early lead, the Maple Grove baseball team saw Spring Lake Park rally to go in front.
The Crimson then scored eight runs in the sixth inning to beat the Panthers 11-4.
Hayden Thomsen’s homerun gave Maple Grove a 3-1 lead in the third.
Spring Lake Park scored three times in the fifth to take a 4-3 lead that didn’t last.
A squeeze bunt tied the game for the Crimson and they kept hitting, leading to a big win.
