Local Players Set for PlayBall Minnesota All-Star Baseball
Since the mid 1970’s Minnesota’s top senior baseball players have competed in all-star competition.
A handful of players from the CCX viewing area are continuing that tradition at this weekend’s PlayBall Minnesota All-Star series.
The Metro North team includes Champlin Park’s Tyler Phenow, Osseo’s Jorda Sivoravong, Maple Grove’s Nathan Schmidt, Armstrong’s Dayton Franke, and Matthew Galatzer of Totino-Grace.
Michael Reem of Wayzata is on the Metro West team.
Games Saturday have been moved to Gleason Fields in Maple Grove due to rain.
