Local Players Set for All-Star Basketball
Local players from the northwest suburbs are set for Minnesota All-Star Basketball this week.
The All-Star boys series is Friday in St. Cloud and Saturday in St. Paul, while the girls event is Saturday at Carleton College in Northfield.
Three girls from area schools will play: Autumn Mlinar of Maple Grove, Jaclyn Jarnot of Maranatha Christian Academy, and Angie Hammond of Hopkins.
Boys all-stars from the area include Jarius Cook of Park Center, Zach Theisen of Osseo, Josiah Strong of Champlin Park, Beijan Newbern of Maranatha Christian Academy, and Anthony Davis and Joe Hedtstrom of Hopkins.
