On Friday April 17, Governor Tim Walz  signed Executive Order 20-38 which will allow Minnesotans to participate in a number of outdoor activities, including golfing, boating, fishing, hunting, and hiking.

Golfers will need to follow the state’s new outdoor recreation guidelines. The guidelines include maintaining 6-foot social distancing, avoiding crowded areas, and staying close to home. Most courses are also banning the use of motorized golf carts until further notice along with revisions to sand traps (no rakes), greens (no touching the flag sticks or golf cups) and more.
