Hopkins Girls Basketball Team State Ready
The Hopkins girls basketball team is state ready.
The Royals are the top seed for the class AAAA tournament and carry a perfect 29-0 mark.
They beat Wayzata for a third time this season to win the Section 6AAAA title.
After three consecutive second place finishes, Hopkins is the favorite to win it this season.
The Royals meet Lakeville North in the quarterfinals Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.
