Hopkins Boys Hockey Prevails
The Hopkins boys hockey team prevailed 4-3 in overtime over St. Louis Park in a Section 6AA tournament game.
Hopkins scored twice in the second period and added a third goal in the third to take a 3-0 lead.
St. Louis Park stormed back, tying the game 3-3 to force overtime.
Thomas Gazich netted the game-winner in overtime for the Royals.
Hopkins now meets top seed Edina in the quarterfinals Thursday night.
