Hopkins Boys Basketball Eliminates Wayzata
The Hopkins boys basketball team eliminated Wayzata 82-71 in the Section 6AAAA final.
The Royals got a little revenge after falling to the Trojans in the past two section title games.
Hopkins close the first half strong to lead by eleven at the break.
They maintained a double digit lead through out the second half to secure the win.
Zeke Nnaji scored 29 points and Kerwin Walton 25 for Hopkins.
Jacob Beeninga had 30 for Wayzata.
