Hopkins Beats Rosemount at Jr. Legion State
The Hopkins Junior American Legion baseball team beat Rosemount 5-1 Thursday in the opening round of the state tournament.
The Millers scored single runs in the first and third innings, sandwiched around a three-run second inning.
Hopkins plays its second game in the 16-team tournament Friday morning at 11:30 at Red Haddox Field in Bloomington.
