Heritage Girls Basketball Advances to State
Kirstin Robbins and Taylie Scott scored 20 points each as the Heritage Christian Academy girls basketball team defeated Christ’s Household of Faith 60-47 to win the Section 4A championship for a second straight season.
The Eagles (26-2) scored the game’s first ten points and were never seriously threatened by the Lions. Ari Geerdes scored 18 points to lead CHOF.
Heritage is seeded fourth for the Class “A” state tournament and will face fifth-seeded Ada Borup in the quarterfinals Thursday afternoon at Maturi Pavilion.
