Heritage Christian Girls Basketball Wins Tourney Opener
The Heritage Christian girls basketball team won its state tournament opener over Ada-Borup.
The Eagles won 67-59 in the class A quarterfinals.
Taylie Scott’s halfcourt heave ended the first half in style for Heritage.
She scored 23 points in the victory.
Heritage did lose 55-50 to Minneota in the semifinals.
