Cooper Boys Basketball Ready for Big Season
The Cooper boys basketball team is ready for what they hope is a big season.
The Hawks return three starters from a team that was 15-3 in the shortened season last winter.
They lost 67-59 to eventual state champion Wayzata in the Section 6AAAA championship game.
The Hawks will have some new faces in the lineup but will build around returners Davion Evans, Prince Appiah, and David Connors.
Cooper’s season opener against Rosemount that was scheduled for Friday has been postponed.
The Hawks will face DeLaSalle on the road Tuesday.
