Cooper Boys Basketball Aiming High
The Cooper boys basketball team is aiming high in this late-starting season.
The Hawks return four starters from a team that finished as runner up to Hopkins in the Section 6AAAA tournament last season.
Broderick Powell Jr, Davion Evans, Jeffrey Cooper and Tyson Dallas are back to lead an experienced Hawks squad.
Some new talent will also give the Hawks a strong bench as they look to play an uptempo pressuring style.
It’s not certain if there will be a state tournament during the pandemic, or what it will look like if there is one.
Cooper hopes to be in the hunt for a spot at state if there is a tournament.
