Champlin Park Girls Basketball Team Wins
The Champlin Park girls basketball team won a wild one, beating Elk River 67-58.
The Rebels built a sizable lead and were up 42-24 at the half.
It seemed like Champlin Park would breeze to a win before the Elks rallied, eventually pulling within four.
The Rebels hit enough free throws to secure the win.
It’s the fourth straight win for the Rebels after a slow start this season.
Maya Fitzpatrick lead a very balanced CP attack with 12 points.
Seven players scored eight or more points for Champlin Park.
