Champlin Park Boys Soccer Beats Blaine, wins NWSC
Leo Conneh and Will Heinen scored two goals apiece to lead the Champlin Park boys soccer team to a 6-1 win over Blaine Tuesday.
Coming off their only loss of the season last week against Armstrong, the Rebels (10-1-0) scored three goals in each half to defeat the Bengals (7-2-2) and win the Northwest Suburban Conference.
Yonas Canny and Cullen Mork scored the other goals for the Rebels.
The match was the final regular season match for both teams. Section tournament play begins next week.
