Breck Girls Hockey Team Falls in Walser Final
The Breck girls hockey team lost 4-2 to Brainerd/Little Falls in the championship of the Walser Invitational.
The Mustangs defeated host Edina in the semifinals to advance to the title game.
After the Warriors struck first, Emily Zumwinkle scored to tie the game for Breck in the first period.
Sadie Lindsay’s goal early in the second gave Breck the lead, but Brainerd/Little Falls scored the final three goals.
