Berry Wins Minnesota Senior PGA Championship
Don Berry of Edinburgh USA in Brooklyn Park won a playoff to capture the title at the two-day Minnesota Senior PGA Professional Championship Tuesday.
Berry shot rounds of 74 and 71 in the two-day tournament, tying with Ty Armstrong and Dale Jones at 145. Armstrong was eliminated on the second playoff hole and Jones bogeyed the third playoff hole, giving Berry the win.
Berry also won the Minnesota Senior Open Championship June 2nd and 3rd at Keller Golf Course in St.Paul.
He is scheduled to play in the the Senior PGA Professional Championship October 15 -18 at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
The 46th Minnesota Senior PGA Professional Championship was held at Medina Golf and Country Club.
