Benilde-St. Margaret’s Boys Hockey Edges Hopkins
The Benilde-St. Margaret’s boys hockey team edged Hopkins 5-4 Tuesday night.
It was the season opener for the Red Knights and the third game for the Royals.
Hopkins scored late in the first period and then got the first two of the second to go up 3-1.
Benilde answered with three straight goals to take a 4-3 lead.
After Henry Sweeney of Hopkins tied the game 4-4 with his second of the night, B-SM got the last word.
Charlie Bischel scored a shorthanded goal to give the Red Knights the lead for good.
