Benilde-St. Margaret’s Athena Award Winner: Sarah Luong
The 48th annual Athena Awards luncheon was scheduled to take place on May 8th. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the ceremony was canceled. We at CCX Sports are recognizing these remarkable seniors from the Class of 2020 and telling their stories.
Today we spotlight Sarah Luong from Benilde-St. Margaret’s. Among her athletic and academic accomplishments:
3- year letter winner in volleyball; 2- year captain
School career assists leader
Led Red Knights in kills, blocks, aces, hitting pct. In 2019
Member of the Red Knight Volunteer Corps, Link Crew, STEMinist club, and Math Tutor
B-SM Valedictorian and National Merit Finalist
Attending Emory University and playing Volleyball and studying Mathematics.
