Benilde Boys Hockey Set for Edina
The Benilde boys hockey team is set to face Edina in the Section 6AA final Wednesday.
The Red Knights advanced to the final with a 3-2 win over Wayzata in the semifinals Saturday.
It’s Benilde’s first trip to a section final in five years, and they’re eager for the chance.
They lost to Edina 5-2 early in this 2018-2019 season.
Faceoff is set for approximately 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Mariucci Arena.
The game is the second of a section final doubleheader.
