Armstrong’s Athena Award Winner: Sierra Smith
The 48th annual Athena Awards luncheon was scheduled to take place on May 8th. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the ceremony was canceled.
We at CCX Sports are recognizing these remarkable seniors from the Class of 2020 and telling their stories. Armstrong’s winner is Sierra Smith.
Among her accomplishments in school and athletics:
Six-year letter winner in swimming
State champion in 100 and 200 freestyle as senior
All-American 2019
Section 5AA Swimmer of the Year 2019
Won 20 section medals in her career
Swimming Scholarship to University of Missouri
