Armstrong outslugs Brooklyn Park in Legion Baseball
The Westphal Armstrong American Legion team defeated Brooklyn Park 15-1 in six innings in North Hennepin League play Tuesday night.
Armstrong broke a 1-1 tie by scoring four runs in the fourth inning. They added two runs in the fifth and eight runs in the sixth inning.
Sub-state tournament play in Legion baseball starts later this month.
