Armstrong Loses to Chaska Football in Season Opener
The Armstrong football team saw a 12-0 lead disappear in the second half as the Falcons lost 19-12 at Chaska.
The Falcons, who didn’t play in Week 1 because of COVID-19 concerns, scored their first points of the season on a 95-yard touchdown return by Jordan McClom to open the game.
Jamen Malone rushed for a touchdown in the second quarter to put the Falcons ahead 12-0. Malone passes for 76 yards and ran for 33 in the game.
Nick Goetz rushed for two touchdowns in the second half for Chaska to help rally the Hawks who ran for 231 yards and three TDs.
Armstrong (0-1) plays at Park Center Friday night in a game you can watch live on CCX.
