Armstrong Girls Basketball Team Takes Playoff Opener
The Armstrong girls basketball team won its playoff opener, beating Minneapolis South 72-52.
The game was a quarterfinal contest in the Section 6AAAA tournament.
The Falcons jumped out to a 20-point halftime lead, and maintained the margin in an even second half.
Carly Krsul had 26 points and Masengo Mutanda 16 for Armstrong.
The Falcons meet second seed Wayzata in the semifinals Saturday.
