Armstrong-Cooper Girls Hockey Team Falls
The Armstrong-Cooper girls hockey team fell to Willmar 5-2 in the first round of the Armstrong-Cooper tournament.
The Cardinals built a 3-1 lead before a goal by Paige Loidolt pulled the Wings within 3-2 through two periods.
Willmar scored the only two goals of the third period to secure the win at New Hope Arena.
Armstrong-Cooper faces College Pierre Elliott Trudeau of Canada in the consolation bracket.
Willmar meets defending champ Princeton in the semifinals.
