Armstrong-Cooper Boys Hockey Beats Rebels
The Armstrong-Cooper boys hockey team beat the Champlin Park Rebels 3-1 Saturday.
The loss knocked the Rebels out of a tie for first place in the Northwest Suburban Conference’s West division.
After Champlin Park’s Jack Karges scored the first goal of the game in the second period, the Wings rallied.
They scored twice in a span of 1:20 in the second period to grab the lead 2-1 through two periods.
Colin Spellman made 28 saves in the win for the Wings.
