2020 CCX Sports Hall of Fame Special
The 2020 CCX Sports Hall of Fame special debuts September 5th, 2020 on CCX1 and ccxmedia.org
Four athletes who played their high school sports in the northwest suburbs will be inducted into the CCX Sports Hall of Fame.
The four inductees are Taylor Anderson from Hopkins High School, who excelled in basketball and track and field; Sam Dower of Osseo who was an all-state basketball player for the Orioles before playing both collegiate and professional ball; A.J. Tarpley, an all-state football player from Wayzata who played both college and professional football; and Krista VandeVenter who was part of state tournament teams in both basketball and volleyball at Osseo before a solid collegiate basketball career at the University of Iowa.
The Hall of Fame, started in 2004, now includes 68 former athletes and coaches from the CCX viewing area, recognizing them for their accomplishments in high school, and often post-high school, athletics.
