State Girls Swimming Highlights

The state girls swimming and diving meet in Class AA featured some strong local performances.

Jordan McGinty of Wayzata won the 100 freestyle and placed second in the 200 I.M.

Sierra Smith of Armstrong was second in the 200 freestyle, as was her teammate Zoe Bresnahan in the 500 freestyle.

Molly Meland of Hopkins was second in the 100 butterfly.

Wayzata placed third behind Edina and Minnetonka. Armstrong was fifth.
