10 Athletes Sign at Champlin Park
Ten Champlin Park High School seniors signed their National Letters of Intent for collegiate athletics Wednesday, the first day for signing allowed by the NCAA.
Five athletes signed for basketball, two each for lacrosse and soccer and one for track and field.
Each signing at Champlin Park was done individually Wednesday morning. Here are the Rebels athletes who signed:
– Dayna Carlson, Lacrosse Northern Michigan
– Megan Carlson, Soccer Bemidji State
– Maya Fitzpatrick, Basketball Wayne State
– Dylan Gichaba, Basketball Minot State
– Maille Mathis, Soccer MN State-Mankato
– Camryn Mayer, Lacrosse Northern Michigan
– Francis Nwaokorie, Basketball UC- San Diego
– MacKenzie Peterson, Track MN State-Mankato
– Gina Stefferud, Basketball Minot State
– Josh Strong, Basketball Minnesota-Duluth
Many other schools streamed signing ceremonies or did not hold one because of the pandemic.
