Winter and Wildlife Abound at Coon Rapids Dam
The parks at Coon Rapids Dam are a spectacular sight in the winter.
Ice still finds a way to form in the rushing water and you can spot a variety of wildlife on the two miles of trails that edge the Brooklyn Park side of the Mississippi River.
